Alamagung Jaya PT. is an Indonesian company manufacturing and exporting handmade antique reproduction furniture and accessories from solid teak and mahogany. Alamagung Jaya is based in Jepara, Central Java, the "furniture capital" of Indonesia. Alamagung Jaya PT. was founded in 1989, as a joint venture between Koos Mooij (Hee, that's me) and Anak Agung Sagung Raka Merthawati (that's my wife).
No other shareholders join the company.

We and our staff have been working together exporting antique reproduction furniture from Indonesia for more than ten years now. We are one of the leading factories in Jepara at present time. In our over 180,000 square feet under roof factory we employ over a thousand full-time staff.

We have over a thousand items of furniture in our catalog and we are constantly adding new items and improving on existing ones. This means whatever reproduction furniture you need, you are sure to find it our catalogue. We currently ship to 5 continents, and demands for our quality furniture are still increasing.

Our Manufacturing Method:
In the past, like all other furniture factories in Jepara our furniture was handmade by local craftsmen working as individuals or small groups.
Facing the raising demands of reproduction furniture from Indonesia, and the growing number of exporters, shipping goods, regardless any responsibility for quality, caused a dramatically quality drop of the raw furniture, made by the villagers, and we started to anticipate in this area already years ago.

We've our own kiln dry equipment, and are producing most of the furniture in our own factory, to assure a steady quality.

We recently imported from Europe a lot of woodworking machines. We've build another 80,000 square feet warehouse,to store the machines. We are one of the few companies in Jepara, having our own kiln dry chambers, woodworking machines to improve joints, presses for table tops. In this factory we produce most of our bigger items, other items will follow soon. See: Impression of our operation. Over capacity of our kiln dry equipment is used to supply our local craftsmen with dry wood. We've more machines on the way to Indonesia, and are setting up a total new factory of about 250,000 square feet. Changing the companies name and structure was done to obey Indonesian immigration and foreign investment rules, but didn't affect our famous service during the last 10 years.
